Fantastic local cycle store, experts in the field! Continually friendly and reliable and given the expense that biking can cost have always tried to recommend a range of products to suit my budget and not oversell with recommendations. Have purchased items from a wide range of stock, ordered in things which haven’t been available immediately and have had cycle repair and maintenance completed. Thoroughly happy with all services provided and would continue to recommend people visit small businesses over larger chains particularly this one. :
In regards to bike servicing. Worst customer service ever experienced, hardly warrants one star. IT systems and approach to communications requires review and update. Arguing with a customer as quote "we are the professionals so we know best" and suggesting that in one staff members opinion I had only ridden the bike 50 miles in 12 years as reason for bike being in relatively good condition. The jobs I asked them to do they didn't, because 'they know best'. They downgraded my service as 'they know best'. They charged £40 for less than 1 hours work. At no time did they ring to update me. So the bike still has the issues it went in for, but cost me £65 for what I could have done myself.
Very helpful and knowledgeable staff. I can't thank them enough for sorting out my bike repair so quickly. Highly recommended CJ Performance Cycles.
Went inside store to look around and the members of staff could not of been more helpful. Answered all my questions and made me feel at ease. Highly recommended and will be calling back in. You were the only bike store I have been in that actually talked to me so thank you

Just popped in to get an appointment to sort the gears out on my Cube hybrid bike. They checked it immediately, sorted the issue, checked the chain, tightened the headset and it was done in 10 minutes. No charge! Can’t get better service than that!
Fab, friendly shop. Staff have extensive knowledge of bikes and everything that goes with bikes. We ordered a bike, went to get fitted for it, had a test drive of it too. The staff have kept us up to date with the order of the bike and were extremely helpful in helping to decide and explained the benefits of my choice. Will definitely be back for all my bike needs/equipment Thank you
Bought a giant stance and had it 4 days then tyre delamination took it back and was told would replace in shop,went on holiday and came back to no tyre as it was away under warrantyannoyed as it was to be replaced in shop, however Chris ordered one there and then and when arrived was a different design,annoying again,so another tyre ordered and again it was different,but Chris then said he would also replace the rear tyre to match now at at first I had read reviews about poor customer service and was having some doubts myself but I have been more than happy at the way it has been dealt with and I can't really comment on other reviews other than to say they must have either been extremely rude or wanted something that was really way above and beyond what was expected from The shop as these lads have bent over backwards to help me get a satisfactory soloution and I will use again due to this fact once again thank you Chris
Popped in to see if they could help release a seized pedal and was sent straight to the mechanic who after using a few techniques managed to remove the pedal. I was not charged for this and the staff went above and beyond and I would definitely use them again.
