Parked here new years eve, over night as it was recommended by the hotel we were staying at. Went for car new years day to find it closed n locked up. Other people trying to get there cars. No notice was up saying it would be closed on website or on sight. Open Wednesday 05.00 to 12pm on website was showing. 11am it was locked up couldn't phone to find out why, hotel that recommended carpark was no help ether.
I have parked in this car park for over 10 year without issues and have been loyal to changes and price increases.nI want to share a very distressing and disappointing experience that happened to me today. I was taking an early train and checked the opening times on Google maps and on the website where it said the car park opened at 5am. Unfortunately, I found the car park closed when I got to it at 5.48 which meant that I had to find an alternative option very close to my train departure. This was completely avoidable and wasn't worth the stressful experience at such an early hour.
It's been reliable over time. However the pricing is now inaccurate. All signs in the car park stated a price of £3.10 for up to 3 hours.nnI unfortunately was charged £4.20 for a 2:30h stay. Highly unethical and I suspect illegal behaviour.
A good car park close to several attractions and cheap. Be warned that they recently change their times to close at midnight so if you’re visiting Doncaster in the evening, do not use them.
