Wonderful theatre. But watching 3D is worst . Bad experience happened with Spiderman no way home. Full dark and not clear 3D vision. Fully disappointed with the experience. But 2D rooms are amazing no complaints.
Lied about me being able to get a full refund on my cinema tickets even though online it states you can’t! Also couldn’t hear any sound other than them playing music for the first 30 minutes of adverts and other things they show, then it wasn’t loud enough, I then had to leave the film to ask staff to turn the lights off!! So many people got up through the film to ask staff to change certain things!!!
Premium prices for a substandard experience. The only reason I have given a 2 star is because of the happy go lucky counter staff attitude. Your lucky that I am giving two stars as the failed bearded bouncer clearly had an underachieving attitude about himself and the cheek he gave my 9 year old. You keep being the big man fella. The seats in screen 3 were black instead of red and the majority were broken. I’ve seen cleaner seats in student digs. The upstairs gents toilets were out of ordered and the ground level facilities clearly had a flushing issue. I’m not sure how often the staff check the bathrooms however they need to step up their checks. Every wc being blocked is not a great experience. My daughters pop corn wasn’t very fresh. The don’t offer normal popcorn in sealed fresh bags, you have to have the Carlos fandango pop corn. £5 something for a small bag wasn’t great value for money. So cineworld next time your ceo starts complaining that your getting falling customer numbers, have a good look a what your offering for a customer experience at a premium price. Next time I’m going to wait until my local theatre has the film I want to see, the facilities aren’t cutting edge but hey yours aren’t either
We've just been to see Avatar 2 at Cineworld, Tower Park, Poole and this has to be the worst experience at a cinema I've ever had. The cinema was freezing cold with aircon at max on one of the coldest days of the year so far. The screen at Cineworld, Tower Park is dreadful quality...far too dark with 3D glasses on and really grainy. It was like watching a cheap, pirated version on VHS in 1982. The sound was just extremely loud... No surround sound, just eardrum shatteringly cranked up to maximum. If a movie is over 3 hours long, why show 30 minutes of adverts before it??? The tickets for Avatar are already charged at a premium price. It's just greedy. I don't know if Avatar 2 would have been any good if I'd seen it somewhere else but based on my experience I wouldn't recommend anyone go to see this at the cinema. If you want to see Avatar 2, wait until it comes out on Disney later this year. The 3D just isn't necessary and if you're watching it at home at least you can press pause for a toilet break! For the cost of one visit to the cinema, you could have a subscription to Disney plus for an entire year!!! Let that sink in. We left the cinema half way through the showing which is something we've never done before. It didn't help that the cinema was too cold and the entire viewing experience at Cineworld was so poor, but I'm sure that if Avatar 2 had really been good enough we probably would have put up with the discomfort to find out how the Sully family got on fighting the bad guys. However, in the end, we just didn't care about any of the characters and all we could think about was finding the nearest toilet and getting in the car to warm up. I feel totally ripped off. Cineworld is the best reason I've had for staying at home and watching TV.
My favourite cinema. Plenty of films to see. Large variety of snacks & drinks, though the hot water machine was out of order for months. A new one is now installed so I can get a hot cup of tea to enjoy with my chosen film. Staff are friendly & helpful
Fab afternoon with kids watching a film Cinema was great although using the loos at the end was a bit of a let down for a lady, the SANITARY BOXES are overpoweringly STINKY!!and make it unpleasant to do a wee, you have to hold your breath DONT THINK THEY HAVE BEEN EMPTIED IN 40 YEARS. Have you guys thought about putting BLACK BIN BAGS in the containers then that can be emptied more regularly
Screen was good. Comfortable seats, staff we spoke too were cheerful and helpful. Just need to fix the doors!
Great cinema with realistic prices. Plenty of food and drink to choose from. I would have given it a 5 star review but the seating is showing signs of wear and looking tatty
Worst Cineworld ive been to in ages! Needs major modernisation to have stadium seating in screens 1 to 10, has sloped seating which isnt great if someone tall sits in front of you. No modern screens such as 4dx or Imax, the studio screens are the best screens here and are upstairs but when its a quieter period they close them leaving the worst screens open! Also Every screen has broken seats that give you back ache and annoy the people sat behind you! The sound and picture quality is questionable as well compared to newer cinemas! Ive had a Unlimited card for years and have now cancelled it since moving to the area as its cheaper and much better and modern at the O cinema in Bournemouth which im pained to say as i really do love Cineworld but not this one which is now sadly my local : on the plus side the staff are amazing and friendly and the drinks and snack selections are awsome but thats not what you go to the cinema for and why ive rated it 1 star as to be honest a movie at home would be better than this place
The only thing that annoys me is it seems you can never get a coffee to take in with you. Last time they said only tea this time machine out of order. Otherwise easy to book and cinema was clean
