I was lucky enough to see the fabulous Richard Herring in this venue & it was worth the trip. The venue is beautiful, a mixture of 1920s style, with modern seating & sound. Looking around inside, you discover hidden gems in restored art & period pieces.nThe staff were very friendly & very helpful to a disabled visitor.nThroughout the show, Richard Herring was clear & easy to see.the technology running his interactive show was fabulous. It might be a long way for me to come, but I would gladly visit this beautiful venue again. I would like to thank all of the staff at venue, for their patience & help towards someone with restricted mobility.
Came here to watch the Wurzels. Great venue, in keeping with it's decor of the time. Acoustics are good and there is a bar in the main hall!nnThe staff volunteers? are incredibly helpful and pleasant.nnWhat a lovely venue, will be returning for sure!
Lovely old building in the heart of Bridport that provides a vital arts experience including live music, movies, theatrical performances, comedy, you name it oh & a wonderful record store !nnFriendly helpful staff and a as luck would have for me a wonderful audience … Simply wonderful
One of my favourite music venues. I’ve seen plenty of bands play here and always enjoyed the experience. Good sound & views from the majority of positions provided you not behind an obviously taller person! Last night was Turin Brakes & it was fantastic from beginning to end
Beautiful Art Decor theatre with varied selection of events, friendly and helpful mainly volunteer staff and serving a good craft ale, cider, and lager. The theatre is worth taking 20 minutes to explore pre-performance. We saw Toyah Wilcox and Robert Fripp the day before their Glasto set, and for us youths of the 80s, it was fantastic.
