First time at Cinemac and myself and the family loved it!! Comfy and cosy and the film quality and sound we're spot on! Love having a local independent cinema and can't wait for future visits.
I am not sure if this place has close down or what but I ordered a voucher mid October £20+£3 delivery and it never arrived. I called the week after, they said they would send it again.. nothing showed.. I have called 8 times since, left voicemails, text the number. Still heard NOTHING. It was a birthday present for a family member who lives in Macclesfield so I’m extremely disappointed I have just been completely ignored. Do not recommend.
Loved this place so much. Independent cinema in the centre of Macclesfield. We booked a VIP 2 seater couch for £17 and it was fabulous. Even has a bar so we bought prosecco for £6. Screen was good. Sound was good. Win win. Booking can be online or at the door. And there is a traditional sweetie stand. It's on the 3rd floor of a building opposite Tescos if that helps. An absolute gem. Locals-USE THIS PLACE, you don't realise how lucky you are to have it. In my top 20 most favourite venues ever.
Nice traditional cinema in a former Sunday school. Seats not as comfy as larger chain cinemas but bearable. Snacks not as expensive as other larger chain cinemas. Sound is good and there is a bar which also serves hot drinks right at the back of the cinema. However it's quaint, quieter and cheaper than the larger chains and I would definitely go again!
A brilliant adaptation of a historic building. Up to date films. Friendly staff. Good prices. My daughter loved the option of the sofa - she felt very grown up.
A wonderful step back in time, whilst accessing new release movies in my hometown. Amazing to see families able to see films as a family, at a discounted rate. I love the building, the concept & the fact it is in our community. Thanks to all who make that happen at Cinemac!

The seats were uncomfortable, popcorn and snacks were not very nice, and, as all the seats were almost on the same level, I could barely see the screen over the head of the person in front. But, staff were friendly and the snacks were at least cheap.
Love our little cinema . Great that it has the bar and the Arighi sofas so comfortable and so worth the extra money as a treat. Have been on numerous occasions- latest visit to see Top Gun Maverick- awesome film. Also great for live shows - took my teenager to see Abba tribute band there a few months ago.
This place has a proper old school traditional feel about it. Decent seats and view on one floor with plenty of space and options of popcorn, proper ale etc. Service is a bit slow and the picture and sound aren't the best but it's very good value for money.
