At 11 o'clock most days there is a tour of the mansion. Our guide was most interesting and informative. We learnt so much about Ipswich and the mansion since it was built in the 1500s. I recommend a visit. A jewel on your doorstep. There is also a nice tea shop too!

A lovely visit to the mansion today. The staff as always were friendly and helpful. Spotlessly clean. The coffee shop is lovely. Staff are so welcoming. A must visit for everyone.

This is a lovely place to have wonder on a rainy day. And the Thomas Wolsey exhibition was an interesting step back in time. Personally I was thrilled to see the horse riding sadle that Queen Elizabeth used. The coffee shop is priced resonably price and a delight.

Small museum and art gallery with friendly helpful staff, gift shop and café. The art gallery regularly carries works from local artists such as Constable and it's great to be able to see such fabulous paintings without having to go to London. Gallery is free and situated in a lovely park, ideal for a quick visit.
