Being invited to enter the massage room by Zowie is like being invited by Nigella to join her in her kitchen….you’re immediately relaxed and sense something good is going to happen. There’s a flow to Zowie’s massage style that takes you through cycles of intensity and deep relaxation. Result - work done absent stress. Highly skilled, channeling the universe and delivering magic….highly recommend.
The venue is beautifully designed and the staff are very warm and welcoming. I instantly felt relaxed. I had booked a 1 hour deep tissue massage. It was easily the best massage I have ever had. Sebastian was amazing - he is clearly a very experienced and knowledgable masseur. He altered the pressure according to my preference and he took the time to listen to my problem areas. By the end of the hour I felt amazing. I will definitely be going back! Oh, and the cafe upstairs is a perfect spot for a post- massage treat.
I have been going to Therapies At the Grocery for awhile and would highly recommend them to everyone, you feel relaxed almost as soon as you enter their space. I have experience amazing healing from Zowie Conway, I know she has very special healing abilities which I have experienced first hand, she is a beautiful person, professional and sensitive. I have also booked in the past with Liam who gave me an amazing massage which left me feeling lighter and as though he had moved and cleared energy blockages in me. I would highly recommend, as I have always left feeling lighter, younger, refreshed and revitalized.
I had a massage with Zowie, a brilliant therapist. My massage was perfect.. I have been having massages for many years and this by far has been the most amazing. The room is so clean, the massage table is so comfortable, the music is perfect, ... The perfect combination for an amazing massage! I had a stressful week and felt so much better after this... ! The therapists are all so very accommodating and friendly - and credit has to go to the exceptional Zowie Conway - Director of this amazing place. I will definitely come back !
The treatments I have received at Therapies at The Grocery are the most authentic and genuinely therapeutic I have ever experienced. The setting is calm and nurturing, without being overly clinical or intimidating. All of the therapists are trained to the highest level to deliver a range of massages, facials and healing work. This is the only place in London I will go for a massage and I regularly recommend friends to go too. Thank you to the whole team, and to Zowie especially, for always making me feel restored.
This is without a shadow of a doubt one of the best places in London for having a guaranteed, amazing massage. In my experience the clear winner, I have been coming here since I moved to Shoreditch three years ago. I have had massages all over the world, and at some of the best hotels/spas in London. I can honestly say, not one compares to every single massage and treatment I have had here. Zowie is a very special individual, whose presence is instantly calming and nurturing; she has imbibed this essence into the space. The energy, the atmosphere is deeply restorative and peaceful. As are all the staff. She has meticulously selected a team of the very best therapists, and each one gives you their complete dedication. Each member is highly qualified, dynamic and experienced in their relative specialisms. It smells beautiful, the music is always perfect, there's no request too much. It's simply a paradise. I couldn't recommend more highly. Also what better than chilling out with a glass of organic wine, before a treatment at the wine vault @the grocery and stocking up on delicious nutrients following your massage. I always recommend to my friends, and each of them has been delighted. Thank you so much to the team for all your hard work and dedication to healing. The business since I have know it has gone from strength to strength. This is a total reflection of the second to none quality of everything here, and completely deserved. Keep up the amazing handwork.
I first visited Therapies at the Grocery over a year ago, and honestly I'd never go elsewhere now. My masseuse Zowie was both sensitive and intuitive to my needs and delivered one of the best massages I've ever had - it was tailored to address my long-aching back muscles while also providing space for me to really unwind and release stress. If you're contemplating booking in, I full-heartedly recommend it!
I received a 90 minutes massage from Lara and it was just fantastic. The good amount of pressure depending of the area she was treating and sometimes deeper to release the tensions on my back, neck and shoulders. The place is cosy, warm and the staff seems really happy to welcome you and feel comfortable. Highly recommended ! I will come back very soon !
Usually I am not really receptive to massages, but this has been a really nice surprise for me at the Therapies at the Grocery. The therapist gave me a well soothing session where my tense muscles were fully relaxed. I felt re-energised after the session. Definitely recommend this place.
My friend kindly booked me an appointment for reflexology and when I arrived Zowie advised that I should actually have a deep tissue massage with George as I had severe pain in my shoulder. I was instantly seen by George who is an AMAZING masseuse. It obviously hurt a lot but the trapped nerve that I've had for 2 weeks definitely feels way better and may even be gone, it's too soon to tell. As I was leaving, Zowie offered me a free 30 minute session with her so that I still get to experience reflexology. How lovely is that? These guys are professional, kind & the place is lovely, clean and peaceful.
