Love this bookshop. So quaint and a great little visit during my stay in Chorlton. Great selection of genres!
Lovely independent book shop, very quaint, good presentation, with very knowledgeable staff. A little haven for any bookworm. In a world that feels so impersonal, where you order books from Amazon, or find them randomly on charity and trift shops, this place feels like a small fragment of a dissappearing world. The cosy atmosphere and neat selection of books makes looking for a something new to read an immersive experience. I buy obviously more books than I can read, and everytime I come here to browse I always end up finding something else to add to the backlog pile. They have a vast selection available but if there's something they don't have they can always order it for you. Also available are plenty of postcards, nice ones, and a large selection of children and youth books, the plushies somehow also feel appropriate and add to the atmosphere. There's an old school boilers providing heating, and honestly I wish they had the space for a small sofa or chair for someone to sit and read a chapter or two, it doesn't need it, and it certainly doesn't have the space for it, but gosh would it be oh so yummy. Definitely stop by if you need a book to read on a rainy weekend or at the local Benito Lounge cafe.
I absolutely love this bookshop. It’s a proper bookshop. The platonic ideal of a bookshop. Lovely and helpful staff to boot. Magical for small children and adults, for that matter. Also really good for diaries, notebooks, cards etc.

Best local independent bookshop ever! No matter what you want, if it exists, they can almost certainly get it for you for collection or delivery in no time at all, sometimes the same day. I prefer to collect as you get to enter the shop which is a beautifully laid out and has lots of amazing offers, the book covers all screaming out for your attention. Goes without saying that the staff are delightful, know the book business inside out and would never dream of putting a brand new book in a wheelie bin. An absolute Chorlton treasure.

Excellent independent bookshop. Always decent sale items, they're really on top of getting new stock and the children's book section is excellent. Small but perfectly formed! Accepts card payments, can order books on request, they also sell wrapping paper and greetings cards. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Heartily recommend!
Lovely independent bookshop. All the staff are knowledgeable about their stock, about authors and about books. The shop is well stocked with a range of fiction and nonfiction and a superb children's section. The shop has a computerized ordering system and any book not in stock is available within a day or two. Very friendly atmosphere.
The staff in this bookshop are so helpful and friendly. I always order through them as I do not use Amazon. There are always lots of discounted books to browse through and a very good selection of greetings cards and wrapping paper.Its a pleasure to shop there.
