Great place to visit. Staff are friendly. The food was delicious and the vibe was on point. Thank you.
An amazing experience visiting this secondhand bookshop with a café inside. The bookshop seems to specialise in large collections of certain editions such as Penguin Classics, Vintage Penguin, Oxford World's Classics, Everyman's Library, Folio, etc. For atmosphere and classics it gets 5 stars; 4 stars only because I wished for a more broken down organisation of the fiction historical fiction, sci-fi and fantasy, international, crime and thriller, etc as different sections and a larger percentage of the shop to be dedicated to fiction. All in all an extremely pleasant trip and a lovely vegan meal and cake to be amhad in the café as well!
Fantastic look around yesterday through the bookshop. As an English teacher once upon a time, I marvelled at all the books that have been around before me. If you want to look and hunt at ease for all types of books, this is the place to visit. Happy to have found a book for my children and sit down at Art of Tea for a coffee. I will be back again.
So much more than a bookshop.....go for the carrot cake at the Art of Tea, a gem of a restaurant situated at the front of the bookstore. Fresh and wholesome. Light lunches and dinners. Great vegan and vegetarian choices. All ingredients are fresh. The puntenesca chicken was rich and piquant......yummmeeeee. Highly recommended.....
Fab place to meet up for a coffee and more. Good menu with vegan options at a reasonable price. Friendly staff and a good atmosphere plus a very interesting book shop.
Collection is pretty dated ie clearly assembled around 2010 but not bad. One of the better bookshops in Manchester not saying much
Big secondhand bookshop with huge stock piled up to the ceiling. I could spend days browsing in here, and I have to resist the temptation to come out with a wheelbarrow full of books. A very cosy and friendly cafe is attached and serves great sandwiches and coffee.
Lovely little place full of quaint character Coffee and second books too.
Amazing cafe & bookshop. One of my favourite cafes & bookshops in all of Manchester!
The best flat-white I ever had in Manchester thanks to blonde hair guy
