Tolmers provides both camping and indoor accomodation for Scouting, Guiding, Schools and Youth groups.

Story

There are many ways to visit us, whether it is just for the day or over night. We offer camping facilities, a variety of indoor accommodation, toilet and shower facilities as well as offering residential trips for Duke Of Edinburgh expeditions.

Our activities can be adapted for groups of all ages and abilities. Some of these on offer include archery, raft building, climbing and abseiling, canoeing and many more. For more information visit www.tolmers.org.uk.

A great facility for Scouting/Guiding activities. Really friendly team. Shower blocks fairly basic, but clean. Separate washing facilities for adults and children
Amazing experience on a FLN retreat! Climbing was great!
Rather wet and muddy but still a fun place to be at Fire and Ice with our Guides. We'll organised and catering g was excellent. Would have been five stars if there had not been quite as much rain!
As always the actual grounds were beautiful and we had a great time. Toilets were reasonably clean and equipped with toilet paper too. However the range of activities available has significantly reduced since the pandemic and there ware far fewer crew members and instructors available to support us. Hopefully things will improve over the coming months ..

Great place for the kids to camp & enjoy outdoor activities in a safe environment. Need to have the shop open though as it's been closed recently.
Great place to drop a scout off for a few hours or preferably days. They will need washing afterwards though
Used by the cubs for the day. Many interesting adventure type activities here, which, thanks to the fantastic scout organisation, my boy thoroughly enjoyed the day. Very nice basic campsite perfect for youth organizations.
Great place for Cubs, Beavers and Scouts. Have experienced all three now! Kids ALWAYS love it.
Great Scout campsite. Big with good activities on site.
