Lovely place to walk with or without dogs. Interesting scenery. Fenced off private fishing lakes. Small parking area with a charge of £2.50 which is payable by card only. Refreshments van in car park sometimes.
Great place to wander and wonderful place for bluebells. The car park is spacious enough and only a small charge. It does feel a little neglected though with the rope barriers to protect the Bluebells broken in more than a few places. The hollow tree, Bluebell carpets and the nature reserve were highlights of our walk. Will definitely be back.
Pashanger is a beautiful bit of of lake and parkland. Open and airy, it is a nice off the beaten track walk. The parking attendant/park ranger has excellent customer service and was taken aside more than once for information. The surrounds are beautiful and there is ample parking. Things to be aware of: Parking is £2.50 for all day. There aren't any toilets so be prepared to go bear. And well there are free roaming long horned cows. We almost got trampled during our picnic but it was very funny... later. So high adventure and lot of stunning scenery. If you want a truly European nature experience it's worth it. Don't attend without planning. Absolutely ideal for nature hikers and cycling.
Really lovely fields and woodlands with many paths you can choose to walk through. Pretty ponds and little areas to explore. Great place to walk your dog or even meet other people. However charges for parking at £2.50
A wonderful place to relax and take a a walk in the countryside. There is lot's of opportunity to see wildlife with interpretation boards telling you what there is to see around the area. Lovely lakes providing great views!
Wide open spaces off the gravel park but no signs or circular walk indicators. Told the warden collection for the £2.50 park fee this would be helpful for users, who said he would pass it on. Not a great deal to see.
Lovely crisp winter day with sunshine, had a great walk in this lovely park . The only downside is car park attendant charging £2.50 per day parking.
Great outdoor space. Kids loved it, very dog friendly. And so tucked away most people wouldn't even know this huge place was here. Definately a little gem.
Interesting 'park'. Basically a landscape ravaged by gravel and sand extraction. Apparently there is still some extraction going on at the edge of the site somewhere. Seems a bit of a shame that not even a small proportion of the profit/tax from the miner has been put towards a decent free car park or visitors centre but that's a sign of the times I guess.
One of the bigger and nicer parks I have been too. It can be great for a afternoon walk - or simply taking your dogs out for their regular exercise. As you explore the space you come across smaller and less travelled paths which you can take but there are also clear signs to where you should not walk so to enjoy the natural plant life. We were able to walk down to the lake which was really nice and airy and it’s a great place to bring the family for a picnic or just the day out.
