My removals compay use Cheshire veichle rental on a regular basis, they are so helpfull unlike larger companies we have tried. We go to no other rental company now when we need extra veichles

Really bad experience with the Company, didn't even get the van off the lot!  I wanted to support a local business instead of a global Corp so put in an enquiry to hire a medium sized van. This went through all fine, confirmation emails and talked with them about using the van to tip items.  Come collection day, also the day I'm due to move house, I get to the office to be told I can't have a van by an incredibly rude lady on the desk. Why? Because I hadn't been driving for 2 years. Something not stipulated on booking, the receptionist snarkly said its on the website. Which in truth it is, if you click through 4 different pages on the website you'll find it nowhere near bookings.  On exiting, the women on the desk said condescendingly I had no hope of getting a van hire. Not exactly the most welcoming person to be the face of the business...  Anyways, 10 minutes later I've secured a bigger van, for a lesser expense with Enterprise who actually confirm I'm eligible before letting me down on my move in date   *I've given 2 stars because I didn't trawl through the entire website to look for a sentence of text that should have been presented at booking, my bad.

I have never rented a car from CVR, but have rented vans. On the downside, getting through the paperwork can be slow, especially if there is a queue. On the positive side, the van was In very good condition and was excellent value for money. Compared to other rental companies they were 40% cheaper, so a considerable saving

Absolutely shocking. If you want a van for a week or vans, if you include the replacement with doors that lock, door sensors that don't beep constantly, doesnt brakedown, with horns, handbrakes, starter motors and batteries that work.. or then expect some kind of refund? Please, please go somewhere else....

My personal experience was great, arrived a bit early van was ready, completed the paperwork no fuss. Great van, did the job nicely. Would have rated higher but my husband's van hire was not as good as mine, the interior floor was not in good condition so moving heavy times around inside was a problem but other than that it was all good

Used recently for a house move - hired a long wheelbase van. Helpful, efficient, fast pick up. Drop off was similarly efficient. Good rates too. Why bother going anywhere else?  Oh, they were really helpful and accommodating over email too.

Nice 2 fellas I dealt with. Not open Sunday so we had to hire for 2 days, that wasn't a problem for us anyway. Van was working and no problems, so I would definitely use again. I delivered van back as I got it, so all good.

Hired a van for 3 days all went perfect. While i was in the office i re-booked the same van for 2 weeks later. Tried ringing the day before pick up to check all was ok but no one answered the phone . Went to pick van up this morning to be told there was no booking  The guy that served me wasn't  in  so i was just told there was nothing they could do. It took us 40 mins to get from Sale to Macclesfield to pick up.  County Van hire in Stockport saved the day for us as we were moving house

We found them efficient and reasonable - having looked around at quite a few other companies.  Van was great, easy collection and drop off.  Would definitely use again.
