Cheshire Cheese

We love this pub!!!!! I have been going there since my children were small. The staff are so friendly and welcoming and the food I'd great. Had a great time at New Year.

Food rubbish for such a simple menu. Girl who served drinks was lovely can't say the same for the guy serving us with food he was rude and insulting couldn't even bring us cutlery until we asked for it and couldn't even give us the courtesy of asking if everything was ok with our meal considering one plate was barely even touched. Wont be returning anytime soon.

Went for Easter Sunday lunch - terribly disappointed! The doors at the front had not been opened and we were instructed to enter through the back, forcing my elderly disabled grandfather to walk back down some stairs and a distance around the pub. The food itself was not to the standard we were expecting - the roasts were nothing like those photographed by other reviewers, the portions a great deal smaller and of poor quality; the two vegan dishes ordered (chickpea tagine and thai curry) were unappetising in texture and taste and all of the food was lukewarm at best. We hope that this is a one-off, but will not be quick to return.
