Blown away. Worth the drive for from Chester to here, even in the darkness. It had the ambiance of Christmas, country pub with its interior decoration and furnishings With its high ceilings and plenty of space between furniture's make it spacious and airy without the chill. Dog friendly, child friendly, wheel friendly and plenty of attentive staff on an early Saturday night, I even found the time to relax, sat by the fireplace and let my mind drift away. Awesome food presentation. When it comes to veggies, I take notice. And nowhere have I seen them so lovely, alive and appetising accompanied by fried trout. The price range is as competitive in the city. And my choice would be here. For those waiting moments,there's free WI-FI.

Excellent atmosphere,food and that's not even mentioning the gin!! Staff fun and friendly, everything needed for a fantastic night..... Highly recommended :-)

Love this place, it's my favourite. Great gins and the food never fails. Nice atmosphere with friendly staff.

Beautiful pub nicely decorated. Only went for drinks but pub has over 300 gins! Great atmosphere

Rang ahead to book a table was told didn't have to book, opened at 12 got there 12.30, told would have to wait 30 mins for a table for 4 people! Told them I was a little annoyed as I had rung, the man I spoke to couldn't have been less interested, Shame nice place but bad staff
