This is an incredible Chaiiwala Branch. The best I have ever been to. It is so popular, it often caused the blackade of Whalley Range as cars pile up outside to grab a quick cuppa. There is seating for 20 people, ample free parking nearby and fantastic food options. The staff here are switched on, they are on the pulse. They make you feel very welcome and nothing is too much effort for them. The omelette wrapped in a chapati was my favourite. The desi breakfast and desi tea was absolutely superb. The best indian breakfast I have had in Blackburn. Salim Patel
Chaiwala is the best place to go for kadak chai & kadak coffee & kashmiri pink chai is so good too. Lots of snacks available & the chocolate chai mousse is to die for. Lots of cold drinks & hot drinks available & the street food will take you back to your home countryFood: 5/5
So from placing the order to receiving the food, we waited at least 30 mins. I understand they had a lot uber deliveries to prepare, nevertheless I've had much better experiences in the past when coming here. We tried the English-ish breakfast and a butter chicken rollcan't go wrong with this. Both were nice once they arrived. I just felt the waiting time was very long, Since there was only 3 tables occupied.
Only our table was occupied, we were 8 including kids however it seemed like uber and those collecting were a priority. Tables were dirty even offered to clean it as had kids but the lady serving insisted she will do it after 10 mins. We had kids who got bored, food took around 40 mins from ordering to one hour as it arrived in dribs and drabs. Had to go and remind what was missing, had to ask about drinks which came last and to top it off the person serving decided to show attitude and roll eyes when we asked about our drinks and the delay. They need more people to serve not just two people one serving and one in kitchen. Won't be going back again, shame as food was nice but service is appalling.
A review of CHAIIWALA is long overdue, particularly because my better half ordered some food from them last week through Uber Eats. It was meant to be one of those one-off treats for our children. She ordered Masala Chips, 2x Gulab Jamun Cheesecake and Samosa Chaat. They were charged just above £20 including delivery - A complete rip-off in my opinion. They know times are hard and yet they choose to inflate their prices and reduces their portion sizes. My better half and our children were well disappointed when the food arrived. The Masala Chips were swimming in ketchup and the portion was very small. The Gulab Jamun cheesecakes were again very small, flavourless and barely had 1 Gulab Jamun contained in each portion. The Samosa Chaat was ok but again the portion was very small. Needless to say, we won't be ordering from CHAIIWALA again. This is what I really hate about these 'one hit wonder' places that are opening up all over the place. Making Chai is their forté but they've got nothing else up their sleeves, but their blingy instagram-able shop features and fancy packaging. Not happy - 3/10 #chaiiwalablackburn, #blackburneats,
Inconsistent, cold food. Lazy kitchen that won't update the uber system so the driver always has to wait and food is stale. Pathetic. Edit: Manager has spoken to me and has taken the time to listen. I'm happier. Thank you.
Pathatic service. We ordered twice and both time they missed some pprtion of food . Even this time we asked them to make sure everything is inside or not he said yes but still one portion of food was missing. Very disappointing.
I have gone to many Chai places since it's the new trend. However, ChaiwalaBlackburn never fails to impress me. They never comprise with quality of food and cleanliness. They have taken time on recruiting their staff; Danny has been our family & friends favourite; he always goes the extra mile. People like him is what sets Chaiwala apart from their competitors! Keep up the good work team Chaiwala- Blackburn! :D
I went there 2month before and order some halwa puri portion and some naan.when i reached home one portion of halwa puri is missing.i thought may b its mistake but today again samething happened i told her is everything init and she says yes everything init.but iTs not and the manager says i cann't do anything next time when you come i will refund you thats not the way i didn't want refund i want food thatswhy i went from darwen to balckburn.
Visited again for a quick catch-up with friends. Very impressed with the quality of the chai plus the service from Safwan was exceptional.
