Went to the till to purchase Sims 1. The lady at the till did not communicate with me and I noticed her putting the Sims 1 disc inside the cover and then change it for a Sims 2 disc. I eventually asked her what she was doing as this was the incorrect item with no communication, for her to reply with "it's the only one we have in stock". She said she couldn't help so I left the shop without my item. I wouldn't mind if she had said this to me beforehand, but instead she was going to change my item without my knowledge and charge me for the wrong thing. I think the service is appalling and I won't be returning. No communication and leaving without my item - very unpleasant trip. Needs to work on customer service skills.  Edit: Since speaking to the CEX team via email regarding this experience, I have changed the rating from the original 1 star to a new 3 stars. This is because I was extremely impressed with CEX's level of attention that I received during the investigation process. They have resolved the problem and kept me updated along the way. I felt as though they have put a lot of effort in to fix the problem for me. I highly recommend leaving a review with CEX if you have any problems because they are extremely attentive and will do their best to resolve it. Thank you for your time.

I traded in an item here. The staffbwere great, really friendly and helpful. They had checked my item within an hour and paid me what they had agreed so it was a dead simple transaction. I would be happy to use them again should I need to sell anything.

This store missed out on a near £1000 sale of an iphone 13 pro max due to their judgemental policy to not let customers handle phones, even though I put my own phone and wallet on the counter as security for them to hold, they said no. Took my custom and money elsewhere and purchased the phone I wanted for my daughter. Popped back into the shop and shown them my new phone purchased and felt good doing so. Their loss not mine.

Always have the dvd,s for dad every week never let him down hes 83

Staff a really friendly and took the time to give advice. The store is really big with Aircon and clean. There's a very wide range and it is quite organised. The only downside is that the retro section didn't have much to offer.

You'd normally get five stars but you've sold me a clearly untested game I'll be returning this week.

Never been in this shop before but I was just passing by and  looked in the window and saw an ipod touch 4th generation for only £25! Went inside and was served by Hassan.  packed in a box and a charging cable. 2nd hand and it comes with guarantee.! Downloaded my favorite music, audio books and music video clips so happy with this little device  Great shop cool service. Worth a visit
