Riverside Autos Ltd is a car sales and service centre situated in Stowmarket, Suffolk. We usually have 100 cars in stock, from small hatch backs to top of the range luxury saloons and 4x4's. We offer all kinds of workshop services from complete engine rebuilds to regular maintenance and MOT repairs. Riverside autos have recently bought another business offering similar services to Riverside along with a fuel station and a reputable body repair shop. Part exchange is available on all cars. Pay by cash, debit card, credit card, cheque / bankers draft or HP the choice is yours! Finance can be arranged on nearly all of our stock and all vehicles over £1000 come with a 12 month warranty included in the price of the car. All vehicles are prepared up to and above MOT standards. I bought a second hand vehicle from them online and honestly I was apprehensive of it. I pestered them with queries and made sure I cover all my insecurities by demanding for maximum consumer protection. They heard me out patiently and gave me enough confidence to go through with the deal. At the end of the day I had a clean car at a competitive price and that makes me happy. @Sam, sorry about being a bit pedantic to make sure that I got what I paid for. I am happy to say that you were very reasonable through the dealing. ;
Can not sing their praise’s enough. Went to look at a Ka for our son who is learning to drive. There was no pushy hard sell and we were left to look around the car at our leisure. There were a few body work issues which were all sorted to perfection. A Full MOT and service was done and also a used car check was done of which they called me to say a couple of small issues have been flagged up but were all put right before we collected the car. We dealt with Sam who was great and carried out everything that was promised to a very high standard. So if looking for a used car this is the place to go as I can’t recommend enough. We will certainly return the next time we are in need of a car. Thanks for a great service.
Very disappointed, car purchased in late January with Warranty I must add that’s not worth the paper it’s written on after 3 months went back with running issues “not covered under warranty” surprise. £1000 bill to replace injectors, now the car after a few hundred miles is stuck on the side of a road dead! Riverside Autos you really need to explain to customers that the warranty doesn’t cover anything! How can you not be responsible for a car bought less than 8 months ago that’s now not road worthy or running? Also to add no paperwork for warranty was given even after a promise to be emailed from Craig it still never arrived. Extremely disappointed
Cannot fault the service from Mark here at Riverside Autos. They had the car I was looking for in stock and delivered it to my home. The driver was professional and they paid me more than we buy any car did for my part exchange. Top class Just as a reference I bought the car sight unseen and it was 100% as described.
Absolutely awful customer service. vehicle was purchased with a years warranty that isn’t worth the paper it’s written on, never received a copy of the warranty until something went wrong and they claimed nothing was covered shock. Rude and unfriendly in general, didn’t want to help out, wasn’t interested in diagnosing the problems themselves .. had second opinions both of which said that the mechanical problems would be covered under basic AA and RAC coverage which they claim to mimic. Steer clear

These are the guys I always recommend when I’m asked about mechanics in the local area. I know their primary business is selling cars, but they have a really good team in the workshop, and in sales. I turn up with an old banger I’m prepared to spend money on, and they try to manoeuvre me into not having unnecessary work done. To me that says that they care about their customers and, quite rightly, they want the job sorted properly so they can get to the next job. Also, they all appear to be the same guys there every time I go. If I had more disposable income I would definitely buy a car from them….because I trust them, and I believe that trust is entirely warranted. They were recommended to me by a mobile mechanic friend who doesn’t work for them. When he wants his car fixed he takes it to them because they will do it quickly and well. There is no attempt to hard sell, nor is there any mockery of my old cars. They know I have old cars because that’s what I can afford and getting my car on the road is more important than getting more money out of me. They don’t want to see me every other month, they want the job done so they can do the next job. It’s great customer service from a highly competent business, I really can’t fault them.
No pressure selling, wide selection of cars, very easygoing and even if very busy always a good sign are more than happy to help. I did purchase a car and so far it has been above expectations and exactly as described. Two months later I still have a great little car and love driving it. I received a very good service and the confidence that I was dealing with reasonable people out to make money true of all retailers but also wanted reasonable deal for you. Sounds fair to me. I noted they do servicing and Mots etc as well, so I will be back.
