In a nutshell, I would say "Really delicious food with good value for the money you pay". The diversity of the menu offered by Cayenne impressed me; the food was genuine and impeccable, all freshly prepared I had a chance to meet the chefs in the kitchen whilst they were crafting all their food from scratch. During the time I spent in the restaurant, I was impressed about the incredible number of phone calls and people that popped in to order their Indian takeaway. However, let me explain the reason of my vote and the fact I disagree with those platforms that want me to average my experience. My review takes in consideration the whole experience I had. Being my wife and I guest of the restaurant; my judgment must also the eat-in experience. And on this side the restaurant was a bit down the standard. From the very soft light, to the kitchen noise arriving into the dining room, this place is not the best for a tete-a-tete dinner. To conclude, if you are after a takeaway experience and you live in the Kensal Green / Kensal Rise area order confidently from Cayenne.
I'm not a big fan of Indian food as most of them are too oily but this place is something else. Portions are generous, food tastes really good and you never see excess oil in your curry. They do Ajewani Gosht which is what most my friends come to my place just to have a take away of this. Overall This place has never disappointed me and to the contrary you will be nicely surprised.
Delicious! And I don't take other reviewer's point about portion size being too small - the portions were huge! Free pompadoms and dips and it was delivered with a smile within 30mins of ordering on a Sunday night. Definitely recommend!
It was pathetic. Portion sizes smaller than any other takeaway. Aubergine's were BURNED. Curries were absolutely flavourless. Tesco does better microwaveable curries and at better value for money.
Honeslty the food is really authentic and the customer service is fantastic!! keep up the good work and keep making amazing food!!
