A lovely Indian worthy of a visit. The service was incredible, they were light hearted, attentive and very slick. They checked on us, anticipated our needs and were there whenever we needed. We ordered two starters and two mains. The starters weren't great, the mushrooms were probably a bit stingy but the grill flavour was really tasty. The chili paneer, a bit different - Thai sweet chilli flavour, which was ok but not expected. The mains were better, the paneer tikka masala was large and generous, sweet rather than spicy but still great. It was full on a Thursday night, would highly recommend for a chilled out curry. Try the mongoose beer too!
Beautiful and friendly welcoming atmosphere Nice and small place Perfect for meet ups, we had a school mates meet up
Was immediately welcomed by the friendly staff, who took me to my seat guided me through the menu. I ended up ordering the Lamb pepper bhuna with chicken instead. It was so delicious and spicy! And halal too! Restaurant is very nice and clean with a cosy environment - perfect for families or groups of friends.
Great food, the Nepalese chicken was just incredible, the portions of rice and Naan are single servings... Which was expense. The main dishes were reasonably priced and great tasting
This restaurant was recommended to us by near by Airbnb place where we stayed for two nights. I would recommended gladly as well. Really good food, probably best Indian food that I have had! Service was so nice thoughtful, we ended up having a longer discussion with one of the staff about the current situations in London and UK. We ordered too much food but we just loved it!
Update: The owner is claiming that this is a fake review and that they will be willing to prosecute me over delivering a 1 star rating. I will update this from a 1 star with no text to a 2 star with my reasoning, so that the review is not as emotional as per what occurred on the Friday of my order, but based on the facts, so let's look at them below. Disclaimer: All items were 20% off, and when complaining about the paneer's portion size as in the attached image, we were met with the response that we received 20% off and if we want more, we can pay for it. We were so disappointed with the portion that we had a knee-jerk reaction and requested a refund on that item before calling the restaurant. That was an emotional response, but on reflection probably the best course of action given how the telephone attendant spoke with us. Quite frankly, if you are going to reduce portion sizes or quality because you are offering food at a discount, you need to understand that most of your customers would rather pay the full price. I don't think anything further needs to be said here. Ordered: Chilli Chicken - £11.55. Thought this was great, a lot more spicy than any other restaurant I've eaten at before but very flavoursome and would gladly order this dish again; though it is a bit expensive. Tandoori Baby Chicken - £9.55. Flavour was good, but not great, nor terrible. Just good. The portion for the price was very, very small and I thought average tasting for what it cost. Garlic Naan - £3.85. Cold and soggy, and probably 8 to 10 inches in diameter, at best? Very poor value, even if it arrived hot. I'm sure the taste would have been fine at the very least, though. Pilau Rice - £4.25. Very small portion for the price. Any Chinese restaurant in the area serves around 50% more rice for a standard egg fried rice and will rarely charge the same as, or more than £4.25 for their regular portion. There is enough rice to satisfy one individual, and is just as you would expect of it. Raita - £3.05. Again, expensive for just raita, but the portion size was good and cannot complain about that, at least. It was an average raita, not the best, and not the worst; just in the middle. Chilli Paneer - £5.05. See image. In fairness to the restaurant, there's a fourth piece of paneer under the red/orange pepper. We were told that this is the expected portion size and assured that this was normal. Being Indians who have probably eaten at hundreds of Indian restaurants throughout our years, we have never seen that as a regular portion, no matter what has been paid for it. No reasonable restaurant offers a chilli paneer starter, at any price point, where you receive 4 pieces of paneer or less. I definitely believe that statement now, though.
Amazing food and reasonably priced in a calm and relaxing setting and the staff are so attentive and welcoming. When they accidently threw away the tiny last bit of food we wanted to keep in a doggybag, they made us 4 new dishes to take-away! One of the restaurants in London I will definitely keep on returning to.
Walked in off the street. Good atmosphere, great food, good service and a reasonable price. Just what I wanted from a local Indian. Highly recommended.Food: 5/5
Great food. Never order via a third party, always contact directly for the best prices and to help a local businessRecommended dishesChili Paneer, Fish Curry
Fantastic service, amazing food. An item from order was missing so they sent a driver straight away to deliver it. That's what i call service. Will definitely order again on a regular basis! Thank you.
