Would rate this place 2.5 stars honestly. The person at the counter, while was not outright rude, he seemed very disinterested to get us seated. He told us that there was a wait time of 45 mins and that we could wait outside. While this is completely ok, he did not ask us to leave our name. When we saw a few others who arrived after us being seated, we went and asked if we should leave our name in the waiting list - and this got him to write our name down. The food was not upto our expectations. Only the naan seemed soft and good. We had also ordered dahi papdi chaat - which was ok not so great at all and the paneer tikka masala was quite oily, but the paneer pieces were soft. But this place is definitely not worth the £25 we spent. We have definitely had much better sattvik food for much lower price! Only positive about this place is the staff who took our orders was genuinely amazing! She answered our questions regarding some items on the menu and patiently suggested us what we could order. While it seems like this is the only eatery near the beautiful temple, the cafe just outside this restaurant sells much better food for fraction of the price!
What a wonderful restaurant! Love the food, ambiance and service. Authentic Indian taste. Paneer tikka masala, Punjabi style… just too good. The best part is there is no onion or garlic and yet it tastes awesome! Taste the bhendi kurkure! Just too good. Well done team.
One of my favourite Indian restaurants in London! Love the chaat very rare them served without onion or garlic. Planning to head to the supermarket to get some ingredients to make at home too!
Delicious food combined with a welcoming atmosphere makes it a great place to have lunch or dinner. With a variety of good food options from multiple continents, it's the perfect place to try a bit of everything! They also accommodate differing dietary restrictions. Vegetarian options: All options are vegetarian, so perfect for those following this diet. Vegan is also available for certain items on the menu upon request. Kid-friendliness: It's a family environment, so perfect to bring children along Parking: There is plenty of parking available, with further parking available on busy days just a 1min walk away Dietary restrictions: All food is vegetarian, and there are also specific items that can be made vegan upon request
After visiting BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir we came to this restaurant on the opposite side through the car park. The food was really good and tasty. All dishes are vegetarian we started with samosas and the went for rice naan with the curry and the special paneer. We also took a mango lassi. That was yummy and we also ask mild and it was spicy enough for our taste : Recommended place after your visit to the Mandir.
Lovely place to eat after visiting the Swaminarayan temple a few steps away.I had Vegan tofu sizzler and vegan method thepla. Had some coconut chutney too. Decor was amazing.
Thali buffet - Mon to Fri disappointed. Colorful as it looks the thali does not deliver on taste - fairly blend curries all four curries. Curries can be tasteful in no garlic and no onion vegetarian preparation. Starters dhokla and samosa could not go wrong. Gujarati dal with rice were mild not tasty. Dessert was overripe banana custard. Restaurant has good starters menu, south Indian dishes and juice/deserts.
Gorgeous Indian food It’s so flavorful, tasty and each dish had a distinct taste. Brown Dal lentils creamy, a little kick, buttery and very healthy for you. This place has lots of vegetarian beautiful dishes, everything was very tasty, you won’t miss meat a bit. Absolutely a MUST. Staff is attentive & cordial , deco is nice, the vibe is peaceful, excellent quality food and prices are very moderate. #indianfood #vegetarianfood
Lovely restaurant and amazing food only veggie and vegan. The place is spotless clean and tidy, offering a nice atmosphere. The food is very tasty, well prepared, full of flavours and the portions are good. Service staff is very friendly and helpful, from welcoming at the entrance, seating you and taking care of the table throughout. Additionally, they have a small cafe outside the restaurant for take-aways, and also a small supermarket where you can get your own stuff to cook. Amazing! Will recommend!
If you want satvik food in London without onion and garlic, this is a great restaurant to dine. Very tasty food, ordered curry with aubergines, naans, dosa crepes, feels like this place deserves its high rating for that. Also pani-puri, bhel, samosa is perfect Indian taste. Lots of choices, from starters to sweets, Roties , few veg. Curries Dhal , rice and snacks. The staff are friendly, welcoming, polite and courteous. Good value for money.
