My partner and I regularly order from Mr India. Their portion sizes are massive and the quality of food is very high. They are also very quick with delivery, and the manager of the store is a very friendly, professional and reasonable man who clearly cares about the business. We will continue to come here time and time again, definitely our favourite local takeaway!
I have ordered from here before I have normally thoroughly enjoyed their food, today I was disappointed with what I was given. I ordered a vegetable madras I was amazed at the portion size as it was not enough for two people and also lacked any curry/gravy. The Channa Masala was not flavoursome as I have had prior. My food also came lukewarm surprising as I live literally 10 minutes away from the restaurant. Something has changed I'm not sure what it is but for a vegetable madras curry with only a sprinkle of garden peas onions onions onions and cabbage was an insult for the price I paid for it. Very disappointed as I was looking forward to eating their food this evening
Mr India/Khaazana: Deeeeeeeeeeeelicious Indian food! I had the butter chicken and chicken pakora. And it was the best I have ever had. The chicken was super tender and the sauce was incredible. I also liked the mint sauce with the pakora - incredible! Compliments to the chef! Nice touch of this place: It is definitely milder than other Indian restaurants. So European tongues can eat without hesitation. : Space for improvement: The atmosphere could be nicer inside the restaurant looks slightly empty and the rice should be included in the price. Also the portions could be bigger the price rises the expectations towards this. All in all: I will definitely eat their food again maybe during lunch time offer and try other dishes too.
Firstly, food is very unhealthy too oily and not balanced at all. Secondly, the portion of meat is tiny, given the price for a dish £15.95. Thirdly, their food is highly over-priced in general. When I brought the whole matter to the attention of the Manager, he started to attack me. If you want to eat healthy and well like I do, I do not recommend this place. It was my first visit there. Sure, it was also the last one.
Went with a large group as a birthday meal the staff were absolutely wonderful even after i slopped curry onto their pristine white table cloths lol. The food is to die for literally and if you like a bit of spice Mr India can accomodate even to the point i had a spicy meal and had to go to the toilet and have a word with myself as it was very hot love this place. The sit in area is rather small but still very accomodating.
Quite disappointed! the chicken wasn’t cooked, the chutney & mint souse tasted really weird. Let the supervisor / manager know but he didn’t know much how to deal with the situation! expected me to pay for the full bill?!
In a word: it's superb!! All foods are freshly cooked & served instant. We was ordered chicken tikka masala, ghee dosa & a vegetable balti & vegetable biryani for my vegetarian friend. The food was amazing!! So delicious
Took a chance and ordered some takeout. I can't for the life of me figure out why more people in UK don't review places online. A place like this would not survive in NY or SF. Both curries were oily and flavorless and the naan was rubbery
Worst delivery service! First time around the order never arrived and had to walk to the restaurant to remind them. Second time around the order was 90 mins late! And to make it worse the delivery guy was ringing neighbors doorbell at 11 pm. Very embarrassing! Never ordering from here - again! Other restaurants in the area such as Miran Masala or Karma have much better customer service.
We usually have takeaway, Chicken Chilly Masala with delicious fresh green chillies, garlicky tarka daal, mushroom baji, pilau rice and chapatis. Just had a particularly delicious delivery to eat while watching Strictly. Highly recommended!
