Story

We are an independent (free house) Pub & accommodation based in Leeds, 1/2 mile from Leeds Bradford airport with a number of Yorkshire tourist attractions on our doorstep.

We overlook a local cricket pitch and matches can be watched from our beer garden and newly appointed decked area.

Our newly refurbished en-suite rooms from £70 per night with Family rooms, Double rooms and twins room available.

Free on site parking for residents and patrons. Free WIFI.

Our on site chefs create a wide variety of homemade meals for both Breakfast, lunch and dinner. Children are welcome in our dining room accompanied by adults, please ask to see our menu.

Our function room can be hired for private parties. Food and entertainment can be added.

We serve a wide variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks.

Booked a table for a meal for four people. Been here a few times in the past with about twelve family members and always enjoyed it. This time very disappointed with service, didn’t stay for food, went somewhere else.

We ended up at this pub as we were staying locally due to a flight from the airport the next morning. The other pub up the road was terrible, so we quickly found this one - what a difference! Great beers, great service, nice atmosphere, friendly staff. We'll be back next time we're in the area - many thanks!

Stay here one night with a few friends when we had tickets for a gig at the Kirkstall Abbey.  We had lunch and a few beers when we arrived.  Food portions were good and overall very good value.  Good choice of local beers and lagers.  Pub garden overlooks the cricket pitch which was nice.  I'd recommend this place over the usual Premier Inn etc, our room was perfect for what we needed.

Went for Sunday lunch with some visitors to our locality. It was a really nice meal with polite welcoming staff and a wonderful Sunday roast. There was enough food for 2 people on my plate! I had to leave some because I was so full. Our guests enjoyed the food and one who had the fish pie kept saying it was delicious! I will certainly come for an early Sunday lunch again. It was good value, good service and good food.

Exceptional location if using LBA airport, plenty of parking and reasonable pricing. Our room was large and spacious with a decent TV. All the tea and coffee stuff left on a really low shelving unit so our toddler was straight at it, we had to put it up on the window ledge which then meant we couldn’t use it.nnThe shower was really weak, washing my hair was a nightmare. The rooms looked clean on first impression however my little one dropped him dummy and when I picked it up it was covered in hair and dust, when I bent down to pick it up the area around the bedside table was filthy.nnThe noise levels were insane, we could hear every word the room next to us and above us were saying and doors slamming all night.nnIf you’re using it to use the local airport then it’s a fair stay but I wouldn’t recommend it otherwise.
