My daughter spent the weekend here with the Brownies, she loved it and didn't want to leave. Highly recommended.
Very scenic in snow but access difficult unless your vehicle has 4wd.
My son attends here with the cubs and he loves going. Wonderful site and really pretty : however the car parking is a bit of a let down, you have to walk quite far from the car park area to get down to where the huts are and if you're not good on your feet it's quite tricky. I usually have to wait in the car as it's too far for me to walk without getting exhausted. If you're disabled then please take care here.
Is nice forest and campsite for survival
Just spent a great weekend here with 28 Cubs. Nice and warm. Grounds are huge. Cubs loved it. Facilities in cabins are great. Perhaps more toilets in largest cabin. Will be back.
A magical place that my scout can be himself, learn new skills and have fun with his friends. It has a lovely family vibe.
Lovely woodland setting - made for an excellent place to let our Beavers, Cubs and Scouts explore. My only recommendation: camp lightweight! All of the campsites are a fair walk from the carpark and you'll have to carry it in and carry it out again. I'm sure we'll be back!
No showers! And some kids from a christening went adventuring through our Bivouacs but otherwise great, alot of fire wood.
The campsite was as always a wonderful woodland area for children of all ages including childlike adults to enjoy the vast benefits of scouting. A brilliant campsite
