I came across this site by chance while looking for an overnight stay in my camper with my young son and our two small dogs and I’m so glad I did.nnBooking was simple and reasonably priced. On arrival, we had to leave the vehicle outside the campsite and walk a couple of minutes to reception but we were greeted with a friendly, welcoming face and excellent service. The directions to our pitch were clear and we were set up in no time.nnAs it was the Easter holidays, there were lots of children around which was perfect as my son quickly made friends and had an amazing time. The site has a great outdoor play area and the reception area includes a bar with plenty of seating and regular entertainment especially on weekends but as it was the Easter holidays there was a karaoke and the kids all had a go which was lovely. There’s also a small beer garden where I managed to grab a sunny spot.nOne of the highlights was the indoor area which includes soft play, arcade games, a pool table and seating for food and drinks. The menu had a great selection and I was really pleased to find a couple of vegan options. The food was lovely and well presented.nDogs allowed in bar area but not in children’s games room which is totally understandable.nnWe were sad to be leaving the next morning and I mentioned at reception that I wished we could stay another night, although I’d seen it was fully booked. A few minutes later, the lovely lady at reception told us she could rearrange things so we could stay. My son’s face said it all! That extra night made our trip even more special.nnAlthough the weather wasn’t as kind on the second day, there was still plenty to keep my son entertained and I got to relax and enjoy a couple of drinks. The atmosphere on site was fantastic, very friendly, with a mix of regulars and visitors enjoying the facilities and entertainment.nnThe amenities were spotless, with clean showers and toilets with music playing which was a nice touch, indoor and outdoor washing-up areas and even a washing machine, dryer, microwave and air fryer. The outdoor dog wash was also a brilliant addition, especially with our British weather!nnThe pods and super pods looked fantastic and are definitely something I’d consider for a future stay. The views were beautiful and although we didn’t explore off-site, it’s clear there are plenty of walks nearby.nnOverall, we had a wonderful time and will definitely be back for another relaxing break. A huge thank you to the amazing staff who made our stay so memorable.
Went camping hear and had a sheltered pitch on a park which is mainly occupied by caravans Tourers and Static. Visited the pub and the staff were very friendly. Toilet blocks were immaculate. Would definitely return.
Just got home from our first stay at this amazing caravan park. We stayed in our motorhome and friends came and joined for the night and they stayed in a camping pod. The site is extremely well kept. The Staff are very friendly from reception, site to club house. Shower block is clean and warm, plenty of toilets and showers. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves as there was a tribute night on in the club house which we loved. Food was great in the evening and so was breakfast thanks Rosie for serving us and being attentive. We have booked a return trip for the summer but I'm sure we will be back before that...Thank you all so much for an amazing weekend
We have now visited Upwood 4 times with our touring caravan, each time was as good as the first. Lovely clean and tidy park, friendly staff.. Excellent club house with live entertainment at the weekend, great kids area! Nearby Haworth is a must visit too with history of the Bronte sisters and wuthering heights walking up main street with its cobbled road and quaint souvenir shops/pubs and restaurants.
Just spent three nights at upwood lovely clean accomodation every thing you would need beds very comfortable had a couple of meals in the clubhouse very large portions Staff very friendly Weather not great but still managed a couple of walks on the moor would book again at some point
