Absolutely amazing stay. Laura is amazing, rooms are beautiful and everything you need is to hand. The breakfast offering is amazing, lots of different choices from continental to cooked. Pots of freshly brewed coffee, little bottles of orange juice. In the lounge downstairs, coffee, tea, biscuits and snacks are on offer daily. You’re directly underneath Stirling Castle, you can walk easily into Stirling from the B&B. Me and hubby can’t praise this little B&B highly enough and there aren’t enough stars to rate this B&B.
Great B&B with a very friendly hostess. Our room was very nice and the guest rooms, which you can use in addition to your own room, are also great. The B&B is only a 10-15 minute walk from the city centre. The breakfast was freshly prepared for the guests in the morning and was very tasty. All in all, we had a great stay at Castlecroft B&B.
The only downside was that we were only here for one night. Immediately upon arrival, we were blown away! Laura is so warm and inviting, and the space couldn’t be more beautiful. The common room is so peaceful with the most scenic view, and our room was extremely comfortable and also had a lovely view. The breakfast in the morning was made to order and delicious!! We want to make another trip to Stirling just so we can stay here. It was a highlight during our time in Scotland! And the location was just steps away from all there is to see and do in Stirling. There are quaint walking paths everywhere you look as well. We loved every second of our time here!

Castlecroft was one of the finest places I stayed in Scotland. The views were spectacular and the Great Room was made for relaxation and community. My room was a nice size, very clean and comfortable. Laura, the owner remembered my name straight away and made me feel at home. She was a very gracious host and makes the best homemade bread. The gardens are beautiful. Laura is very knowledgeable about flowers. She was helpful regarding questions I had about gardening. I totally enjoyed my stay.
Great place to stay. Great service from Laura, always helpful. Rooms are clean, spacious and complete with anything you may need. Great views from the outside to the castle. Great views also from the room. Great breakfast. The only issue is location from railway station and walk connectivity, you may get lost on the pathways! Best to go around to the Road and spend a little more time. You pay for what you get. Great time there!
Easily five stars. Host Laura is awesome. The made to order breakfast is incredible. Location is great. The house is clean and lovely. Rooms are warm, cozy and well appointed. I would come back to Sterling just to stay here. Best Bed and Breakfast we’ve ever stayed at. Thanks lauraRooms: 5/5
The location was what brought us here but the quality of the stay is what will bring us back. There is a foot path leading from Castlecroft to Stirling Castle and to Stirling Old town. The rooms are spotless, comfortable and have terrific views. Breakfast is delicious and cooked hot to order. Laura is a perfect host. Walkability: Foot path leading from rhe bed and breakfast to Stirling Castle and Old Town.
We had a fabulous stay with Laura at Castlecroft. Her B&B is lovely with an expansive lounge, private rooms -- clean with a beautiful view of valley and sheep pasture, and a wonderful breakfast cooked to order. Incredibly convenient to walk to the center of town about 10 minutes, a gorgeous walk beneath the castle. We checked out the Old Jail, a local pub, and Port Cullis for dinner. Highly recommend staying with Laura!
