Cosy place with friendly staff and reasonable prices. A little awkward getting your bags upstairs due to narrow stairs and fire doors. Book direct.

We chose Castle View as the venue for this year's Christmas do with many of us opting to stay overnight. Our experience from arrival through to departure was absolutely amazing. The welcome was warm and friendly. The Christmas dinner was delicious and plentiful. The rooms were comfortable and clean, and the breakfast was fabulous consisting of a full English, cereal, toast, fruit, yoghurt and delicious breakfast muffins. The Castle View itself is a beautiful building with, as it's name suggests a fabulous view of the Castle. A thoroughly enjoyable stay, and I highly recommend it. Michelle Gallimore

Stunning accommodation, lovely staff, and an absolutely amazing breakfast. The building is old and beautiful, and the rooms are large and well furnished.
