I can't rate the rooms as I've never stayed there. Nice covered area out the back and food is delicious. Thoroughly recommend their Sunday roast xx Good service and very friendly staff. Nothing is too much trouble
I have to mention the excellent and friendly service I received from Ricky and his staff over the weekend. I was staying in Chepstow over the weekend to run at a local 10k race, and was made to feel very welcome and very comfortable. Ricky and team were very flexible and very friendly, helped me out a lot. I would stay here again if in the area!
We stayed for 2 days everything about this hotel suited our needs . Very reasonable prices the staff was very polite and helpful and welcoming great hot breakfast with quick service hotel was clean . Parking at rear of hotel with charger for electric cars. Thanks to all the staff at the hotel. Also a beautiful clean town chepstow.
Staff were great but boy does this place need upgrading.nRoom and sheets were clean but room way too hot, shower took so long to get warm and was basic and cramped.nHad to use a bottle to wedge open sash window as sash broken....just to get cool air and breath.nCarpets threadbare.nDecor so dull.nOn the plus side the breakfast/food very good and general staff were lovely
Enjoyed my stay. Perfectly positioned in Chepstow and friendly and helpful people running the hotel. Remember, it is a 2 star hotel and is wonderful value, so don't expect 5 star. However, the rooms were very clean and comfortable, and a lovely bar downstairs. Would stay again.
