I left my phone in a black cab this morning after paying the fare by credit card - first time we did so - and going out of the taxi without realising that my phone was still on the seat. The cab was moving away. I rang on my wife phone saying I left my phone in the car. Later that day I went to taxi company the gave my phone back they are very trustworthy .

Used this service twice tonight being a little sceptical on reviews. They've clearly been trying to make improvements to their service guy on the phone was quoting about 10 15 minutes before taxis which we were fine with The taxis always came much sooner than that they send a text to link to tell you where the driver is and how far they are from you. The drivers were friendly and welcoming, cars are clean and tidy would recommend and use them again definitely.

We decided to use Castle Cars because everything was so easy to set up thanks to their website and email. Very prompt response from the first email we sent. The price was competitive. Must say everything went very smoothly.

Awful. Simply awful. I had to type my destination into the drivers satnav. Meter was switched off, and when I queried this was told that it was a fixed price. When I asked what the fare would be, was quoted a figure way above any other taxi firm, and I immediately told the driver that. The driver launched off on a rant, half of which I couldn't understand, but as I had been travelling for nearly nine hours I just wanted to get home. On arrival at destination paid the lower of the drivers estimates, and asked for a written receipt - I was handed a blank receipt and a pen. I asked to see his taxi driver ID badge which was waved under my nose very quickly, and when I tried to photograph the ID the driver got very aggressive. I told him I planned to report him to the relevant authorities but it made very little difference. Called the taxi office and explained what had happened, and the lady that I spoke to said she would get somebody in management to return my call - 48 hours later, nothing. This outfit are a complete sham, and would urge anybody with any other options not to use them.
