Carberry Tower Mansion House

Wonderful festive stay, warm welcome, pleasant friendly and very efficient. Hotel is very clean and stylish period decor, adorned with antique style and has two fantastic library rooms and other chill out snugs. Suite was perfect and had upstairs bathroom, bed enticingly comfy and pillows soft as cloud. Even my sleep app said I’d had the most deep sleep ever recorded! One downside is breakfast not at the rest of hotel standards ie over cooked eggs, limited choice, no kippers . Evening meal highly recommended a little limited which isn’t a criticism but disappointed no game on the menu except duck which was slightly overdone. Can’t wait to revisit perhaps again over a festive break...👏🏻 Thank you. Overall I’m in love and grateful to the owners vision of a family feel elegant hotel. .....that delivers.

Stayed in this beautiful Castle like Mansion for a stunning wedding under the big tree at the rear of the venue. Service was excellent, rooms were great, little bit of a rabbit warren getting to rooms but such a nice place. 5 Stars

Unfortunately a very disappointing stay. This place is beautiful and it's setting is breathtaking. However on arrival met with stoney faced older receptionist who wasn't very welcoming. That aside we were put into a very small room at back of tower which we could have made work if it hadn't of been so filthy. Dust filled cobwebs and disgusting stained carpet. Ripped duvet cover which was stained and a rock hard very old mattress with springs poking through. Sink so small u couldn't fill the kettle or even a glass for that matter and even if u wanted to there was no cold water. Ripped wallpaper and pen marks everywhere. Complained and as I would never sleep in a room like that and we were thankfully moved with lots of apologising. Other room was much cleaner but still lacked any finesse. Mattress and pillows are very cheap and once again rock hard and you couldn't get any form of sleep more than an hour without waking up in pain. Bad back for days after. Also the king size bed was 2 single beds pushed together and you would roll into crack in middle. What's good about Carberry? The food is excellent but if I was to return it would only be to visit the restaurant. Such a pity that the owners have decided not to spend the money on revamping in such a beautiful place...it could be amazing but unfortunately it falls drastically short. My advice don't stay unless you want an asthma attack and a chiropractor in the morning.

Wonderful setting...wonderful food...wonderful staff. What more can I say? Oh yes...can't wait till our next visit.

Attended a family wedding. Rooms were lovely and spacious. Food was lovely. All the staff were very helpful.
