Quiet and unpretentious local pub with friendly staff and patrons, and some interesting beers on tap. Will visit again.

Lovely pub and nice drinks, well recommended

I may have been the only customer on an early wet Tuesday afternoon, but I got the impression that the pub would be a good place to spend a few hours in good company.

This could become my new favourite pub in Edinburgh. Great beer and great atmosphere.    Traditional local boozer.

Very friendly staff but crappie dominoes team

Very much a working man's pub with basic comforts. You are likely to hear some coarse language. However, the bar staff and patrons are friendly and obliging. They are very welcoming to OAP's. Quite a few of the patrons are OAP's themselves. It is a safe place to frequent. Their ales are very good and not expensive.

Great spot. Sam Smiths & Taddy Larger, this far north. Friendly barman, dog friendly. Well stocked Village store across the road.

Nice beer  decent coffee lovely friendly staff

Friendly local at far end of racecourse,depending on which you come from.Always two quaffable real ales on offer along with the excellent Sam Smiths cider.Friendly staff always happy to oblige.

It's run well by a lovely family and sells fantastic Taddy lager and great selection of real ales big shout out to Kelly she sure knows how to pour a pint lol
