Food was fabulous but unfortunately not enough staff to cover the tables. The starters came quite quickly but we waited just under two hours for our main courses. This would have been fine however other tables who had came in well after us had their starters and mains well before us. We had to ask for another drink as that wasn't forthcoming. Again, the food was fabulous.
It was my first time here and I went with two friends. The decor and music was appropriate for the Italian restaurant. Staff were friendly, efficient and really helpful - I asked for recommendations as to what to order and the waiter suggested a medium priced dish which was absolutely delicious - gnocchi with wild mushrooms and spinach. As to cost - starters are average £7 but some are cheaper and some are dearer. Mains range from about £9 to £17 but everything is well worth the cost and it tastes so good and fresh. Dining here is definitely recommended. Parking: There is parking right in front of the restaurant
Love this place. Went there early evening with a friend to have a pizza and really enjoyed it. Don't often go to restaurants, but will certainly go back to this one. Excellent value for money and service. Great ambiance.
First timer, and loved the ambience and the food. Lovely friendly staff too. Won't be the last time!
Food was okay waiter got order wrong but we didn't say anything because my husband didn't want to make a seen. Pasta dish size was more like a starter rather than a main course. My first visit around a year ago the Food was amazing and good size portions. Really disappointed this time.
We went there for the first time on Friday lunchtime and we took our 7 year old granddaughter with us. The first thing to say is that we will definitely be back! The restaurant was cozy and warm and completely authentic. The food was excellent. We had mussels to start which were perfectly cooked and pizza and pasta for main. My arrabbiata was perfect. The waiter was great and lovely to our granddaughter. Only one thing was that you can’t add a tip to a card payment and we didn’t have any cash with us. Never mind - we’ll just have to go back soon and take cash with us next time!
Lovely restaurant with great atmosphere and absolutely beautiful food! The meatballs are so tasty, served in a tomato sauce with bread to dip! Yum! My husband had the steak and said it was fantastic. Will definitely be back!
Wonderful food, service, ambience. But good luck in trying to call to book a table, the phone rarely gets answered. The website doesn't have a book online option. I tried for 3 days to have my call answered to book a table, ended up turning up on a quiet lunchtime in the hope there would be a table available.
I adore this gorgeous little restaurant. The food is delicious, the place has character and the staff are attentive and friendly. Everytime I've been, the whole experience has been enjoyable. My fave Italian in East Lothian Food: 5/5
Beautiful restaurant, food is so good and tasty, warm welcome , cozy interior and lovely staff. Definitely recommend
