The owner was a very pleasant lady. The building was very nice. The inside was what you'd expect for a typical B&B ran by an older couple - not a criticism. However, the room was a bit unkept. There were a fair amount of cob webs on the ceiling, thick dust over the top of photo frames and mirrors in the room. Generlly needed a bit of a spring clean. The beds were comfortable and clean. Didn't have time for breakfast sadly due to bad timimgs of the day aheads plans so can't comment on the food. Overall not a bad stay but I've stayed in better B&B's in Musselbrugh.
