Lovely little independent pub & diner in Dalkeith. Tempting menu choices. Extremely pleasant & attentive service. French onion soup is delicious & to be recommended. Reasonably priced , tasty & nicely presented food.

High end pub food. Friendly staff and relaxed atmosphere. Nice selection of ales and beers on Draught and bottles. Being a fan of a dram of whisky , I was spoilt with the vast selection of single malts. Well worth a drive out but recommend booking a table.

Food was OK. Tried to order the salmon with chips instead of potatoes, waiter said 'No', no explanation. After we got our food we tried to order an additional side but were told 'No'. Place was too warm also. It was ok but could be better.

Great food, dog was very welcome, amazing service, friendly staff and great beer available (some German festival beers and local craft brews available).
