My wife and I have used the spa at The Captain's Club on many occasions and every time the staff are polite, friendly and professional. The facilities are kept nice and clean. The spa pool is smaller than most, but is adequate, provided there are no large groups in attendance. There is also a sauna, though I have never used it. The treatment rooms are very comfortable and the treatments themselves have always been superb, whoever is administering them.

First time staying at Captains Club and we haven't been disappointed. Our room was ready early which was a great help and the staff were extremely welcoming and very helpful. We had a lovely room overlooking the river which was plenty big enough to fit a travel cot in along with table and two chairs. Breakfast buffet was delicious. Dinner was busy with non-residents which is always a good sign!

Lovely setting and been many times. Once we got over the shock of the A la carte menu option for lunch time, we had a wonderful Bar menu option. The food was excellent . . Burgers, Salads etc  All very tasty. Then we moved on to the lounge area where the ambience was chilled and the staff all very helpful in getting us seats and coffees. Will be back.

Beautiful high tea. Beware that normally you have to pre book, we were lucky to get one as we were on a spontaneous visit. They do freshly cook the scones to fulfil bookings usually but there were some left for us. ! One  comment I'd make on the downside is that the young staff need to be a little more aware of clients.. 2 or 3 times we were waiting for someone to notice us to order another pot of tea, bring the bill over & so forth... they weren't exactly busy but they need to be more on the ball..!

Great restaurant! I recommend you to book for a brunch and it's extremely popular, specially when the weather is good as they have amazing views from their terrace. Food is very good as well and the staff is lovely. 100% recommended
