We are a small independent company based in Southbourne, Bournemouth in Dorset. We are Dorset's only flotation therapy centre dedicated to providing you with quality treatments of a holistic nature within a calm & tranquil environment helping you regain balance & peace within a sometimes chaotic world. We provide flotation therapy, deep tissue massage, Swedish massage, Indian head massage, reflexology, hand reflexology, shiatsu & more. We also stock beautiful, locally handmade gifts, soaps, incense, malas, Epsom salts, Himalayan salt lamps.

Been here a couple of times now to have the fire cupping treatment done by Matt and I have to say he’s great! The facilities are always clean and tidy the room you have the fire cupping in always smells nice and is peaceful, tranquil and calming. After having the fire cupping and deep tissue massage I left there feeling like I was floating on a cloud! I would definitely recommend Yemanja Therapy to family and friends and will be returning in the future too! 5*

Having had both a deep tissue massage and floatation therapy here I can attest that Yemanja is a wonderful experience and would recommend it to anyone wishing to release some tension either psychologically or physiologically! Matt is really kind and a very good masseur as well. The floatation therapy was truly amazing and I will be returning again in the near future. His small shop also offers a good selection of crystals and incense which are very reasonably priced, in keeping with all of the therapies.

One of the best experiences I've had. Went for float and was a little nervous as I'd never been before and didn't really know what I was getting into. It was incredible. So calming from the moment I walked in. The man was really kind and told me everything I needed to know and then I was left in my little cocoon of calm. The floatation itself was different to what I expected, almost like a giant bath inside a cupboard. You had full control of the lights and music could be played at your choice. After it was finished they provide towels, shampoo, conditioner and body wash and ever a hairdryer for when you get out. Definitely will go again

A hidden gem on the high street! I’ve visited a few times for Indian head massage, foot massage and floatation and every time I leave totally relaxed & feeling like I’m walking on a cloud! Matt is fantastic, hot towels and herbal tea just adds to the relaxing experience. Highly recommend

Arrived 10 mins before appointment as requested but shop was shut up with sign saying appointment in progress. Not the best of welcomes! 5 mins later Matt came to the door and let me in. Nice guy who explained the flotation session I had booked. Shown to my flotation tank room. All very clean with towels, ear plugs, shower and shampoo, conditioner provided. Flotation session was great experience but slightly spoiled by noise of children banging from flat above. Would recommend a mid week experience when children at school. Overall a good experience.

I've just had a neck back and shoulder message by Claire which was amazing!  Hoping to go back soon for float therapy as I've heard great things about it.  Friendly staff, well priced and excellent service. Would highly recommend 5*

I was diagnosed with an auto immune disease in dec 2015 & sought to find alternative therapies in order to get it into remission. I went to Yemanjá & had a course of flotation therapy & it is now something I swear changed things for me. It’s a beautiful place & You can feel the healing vibes as soon as you walk in. I have now put my mother in for the baths as she has fibromyalgia among some other ailments. I cannot praise Yemanjá & Matt highly enough. I’ve now been in remission without any medication for nearly 16 months. Thank you Guys for Your wonderful work.

Sensory Deprivation Tank wasn't checked before I entered and one of the lights switch didn't go completely out so I wasn't in complete darkness as I was supposed to. Wish someone would check all that before session. Make sure you ask them for a complete check of tank. All 3 switches must go out for it to be pitch black, only then will you get 100% of the experience. Other than that it's a really nice place.

The body is a vessel that carries us through life. Ninety nine percent of us is inside full of emotions and our spirit. Using the flotation tank helped me feel this fact and be at one with it. Just being one with my true self and having the clarity to honestly look at my emotions and thoughts to see their  true origins of where they come from eg: Ego, greed, loneliness and my defaults. Just exposing these emotions helps me to be willing to change to better myself. This is my second time and the first was a bit daunting but managed to relax after a while. I recommend this to help anyone with stress as I feel it's a easy way of meditation. Just remember not to wipe your eyes as it stings lol but their is water to spay when needed but I was so relaxed I forgot this fact. Lol Hope anyone who tries this gets as much out of it as I do. One Love.

Flotation therapy was one of most relaxing treatments I have ever had. Easy to find via public transport bus stop right outside
