We frequently come here for the excellent menu and friendly staff. It is well placed with great views of the green and offers generous parking. The decor is comfortable and traditional, with nice touches. There is a wood burner in the bar for colder days and a spacious garden for summer.

What a wonderful place! I only came for a funeral celebration, but was very impressed with the fool quality and its display. The staff were very friendly, as were the clientele. If I lived closer, you couldn't keep me away! Full marks, also for a well maintained facility.

Really varied menu, lovely interior with lots of space, generous car park (but be aware there is an "in" side and an "out" side - pick the right one!) Food was good and we didn't have to wait long.

Fabulous! We held a funeral wake there - the food was beautifully laid out, service was great, staff lovely. Highly recommend this pub for food, ambience and price.

We ended up here after failing to find a table elsewhere on a busy Saturday afternoon. My phoned ahead and was told they would fit us in fine. The place was nicely full, without being too crowded. We had a mixture of drinks - beers, cider and coke, and each had a main with a sharer of baked camenbert. I really enjoyed my burger with peanut butter and chilli jam and the chips were great. The others seemed to also enjoy their food - another burger, and a couple of salads. All the staff were pleasant and the facilities were clean and tidy.
