Pub owned by Greene King near Tunbridge Wells in Kent.nIt's quite a large pub with a few areas inside, some for more for drinkers and the rest for dining.nIt has a dart board,a poll table and there are various large screen TVs showing Sky Sports.nThere are some good deals on food but it was disappointing to find that a fair few options were not available.nNo Sunday roast on Sunday!nI ended up with my third main course option.nThe food arrived in about 20 minutes, to be honest I have seen and tasted better meals in other Greene King pubs which have much the same menu.nI recently signed up for the Greene King sports App which entitled me to a free drink. The barman didn't know how this worked but the manager stepped in to help.nI used the toilet and discovered that the soap dispenser was completely missing.nThe pub has an outside area which looked nice lit up as the light faded.nI have had good experiences in most Greene King pubs but felt this one a little below par.n3.5/5 would be my rating if that were possible.
A very typical Green King pub. I've always been happy with the selection. I asked for a well done steak and enjoyed it. Mixed reviews from the company I was with. The salmon went down a treat. There was plenty of space to sit on a Wednesday, inside and out. Free parking. The staff were friendly enough. I would go again.
The place is nice but the chips weren't cooked enough and neither was the garlic bread. The rest of the meals were nice though. I had the vegan fish and chips and my wife had a vegan mushroom and ale pie. If you could sort the chips out it would have been a four to five stars
Decent pub grub at reasonable prices. Ordered tea and was given a mug of hot water & tea bag. Unfortunately the water was only Luke warm but was replaced without question. The staff were efficient but lacked personable skills. Easy parking and plenty of outside space if the weather is nice.
2 for 1 burgers on a Friday.nFood is good for the money.nStaff friendly and polite and attentive.
