I stayed for one night for a wedding at a nearby resort. Nice, no thrill Lodge, not modern, but has everything you need. Easy check-in, coded room doors, so no fuss with keys. Really goodnValue for money, very clean, extra towels and bedding in the room, quiet nights sleep, room smelt clean and dust free. 24-hour person on call. Mini fridge and tea/coffee/kettle, etc. Lovely garden at the rear, plenty of parking and easy to find. Would stay again if going to the area again
Poor welcome by tannoy then a person, I felt relegated to an annexe room with a shared bathroom - NOT what I booked - No breakfast available - Alarm on the annexe door bleeping All night - Cracked sink, bath surround and even cracks in the toilet seat. I wish I had never booked. I stayed one night then left. Very poor value, poor quality, grubby and noisy. Never going there again.nI knew this property was not 5 mins from the beach, but owners have significantly over-inflated their opinion of themselves. Even the photo shows the house next door and then a notice at the door implies the neighbours are fussy. Parking off road, but tight.nI left afetr one night - not
I have stayed three times at this hotel and will stay again. Warm welcome, helpful staff, convenient location, accommodating special requests, Reasonably priced. Very happy with stay.
The rooms were clean and large, there wasn't any bath which was a shame. The reception was dealt with on the phone which was unusual but the staff were super helpful. The parking was tight but manageable. In need of a bit of a refurb, but cheap and cheerful! There was no bar.
Would not recommend, there was mould in the shower and in the silicone tubing of the showerwall. We didnt stay for longer than an hour. The staff did try to remove it.nnThe reception is via intercom, which strikes me as a bit odd, but they are at least quick to answer. Its also in a living room ? area.nnThere was hair on the bed, the bedsheets were ripped and so was the curtain. It also seems outdated. We had a big TV though room 6.nnWe did get a refund for the rest of our stay.
