Out of a group of 7, the staff managed to get 6 meals wrong. We've been here twice before and forgot about the experience we had previously where the muscles we had were black and full of grit and DIRT. completely not fit to be eaten. Always found the staff to be quite rude and not care about the customer if you complain. They're quite young and don't tend to have a good attitude to working hard or trying to do their best to make things right. Waited 30 minutes for drinks. Had to ask about where the food was. Food was cold when it finally arrived 1.5 hours later. Starters never arrived. No apology at any point from all these things. Unfortunately, Francos is exactly the same if you are sitting in. Same owners too. I've cream in Remos is good but I wouldn't recommend sitting in for food. Always takeaway it'll save you the hassle

Lovely place on the seafront for food or just a catch-up with friends. Lovely choice of ice-cream and plenty of outdoor seating too. Perfect location, right next to the splash park

My family and I are regular visitors to this family run beachfront cafe/restaurant. Informal and great for kids, the staff are lovely, the food is varied (pizzas, burgers, great salads, Sunday roasts) very nice and reasonably priced, great coffee and ice creams too. Reluctant to share this place as despite being popular it still feels like a hidden gem.

Great spot. My little girl dropped her ice cream so when I went back to buy a replacement they gave her another one free despite it being an accident. Really appreciated that

Great cafe with an excellent selection of ice creams. We had turkish delight, oreo, chocolate orange and rum & raisin. So good and the path along the front is great. Even better in the summer with the paddling pool for the kids right next door
