The new name and refurbishment are a welcome change and the new staff are friendly and attentive. The prices are very reasonable and there is a large variety of choices and promotions within the menu. Overall the food quality is good and the cooking times are also good. The venue also has an carvery section which I personally feel is of a lower quality then the rest of the menu however it is perfect if you feel the need to stack your plate up to fill the gap. They have a soft drinks refill section with an ice dispenser which is something of a novelty as well as being very practical. They have a small outdoor play area which is within view of the eating area which is useful for older children, large carpark with good spacing which makes stopping in for a quick bite very easy.

Really nice staff the best you could ask for, the pub it's self is set out so nice airy and loads of room with plenty.of seating a area for the kids to enjoy and there is a fab beer garden. There are a few menus to choose.from with something for every one all quality meals then there is the drinks selection second to none such a good selection so go and give it a try you won't be disappointed.

Lovely place. Lovely staff. Had the carvery. Was nice but gravy and cauliflower cheese were a little bland. Will definitely go back though x

Lovely Sunday roast. Yorkshire puddings are flat and not very pleasant though. Meat and veggies are lovely and very plentiful.

Would have given 5 stars if we hadn't had to wait 30 minutes for our food and 15 minutes for our dessert. The food was really nice.
