They made the wedding really special. It was mostly perfect. The only problem was the poor excuse for vegetarian meal. It was some form of kebab with a horrid cheese & raw onion. The vegetables were lovely & they made vegetarian gravy specially. The dessert was delicious and the staff were fantastic. They worked so hard & smiled all the way through.

Food is hot and tasty (always important) and there is a friendly and welcoming atmosphere whenever you visit. Staff are very helpful, kind and attentive. Warm and cosy in the winter and comfortably cool in the summer. It is an altogether nice place to go on your own or with family and friends. The only let down is the food is overpriced for what essentially looks like cash and carry 'grub' and not much of it. I will not visit there again for that reason.

Great food shame about the staff. This was my 5th visit and food always the same, so tasty, the carrots taste like they did 40 years ago, potatoes and the rest cooked perfectly. Each time staff has been useless, terrible service and then when your meal does arrive just dumped on the table. No pleasentries or smiles at all. All staff look like they would rather not be there If the food was not great I would give it a big miss Forget the service just enjoy the food

First, the pros: The place was immaculately clean and nicely decorated. However, I was less than impressed with the food itself. I had BBQ wings to start, of which there were three, served on a piece of slate. These were unremarkable. For the main course I had a chicken breast 'stuffed' with mozzarella and tomato, with chips. The chicken breast was pretty small, and there was not a lot of mozzarella or tomato to be found. The chips were pretty bland compared to other places I've eaten. For dessert I had the 'profiterole surprise'. I was indeed surprised that there were only three profiteroles with a dribble of chocolate sauce. Given that these were clearly from a box of frozen profiteroles from Iceland or similar, I was also pretty surprised that taking three out of the box and dribbling some chocolate sauce over the top commanded a price of £4.50. I got the impression that pretentiously arranging the food to make it look better than it was had taken priority over taste and serving a reasonable sized portion. At £25 for the three courses, I felt pretty cheated (and still hungry) compared to other places I've eaten, where the food has been both tastier and more generously portioned.

Nice family restaurant cum bar. You can spend your weekend over there. Good food and nice drink and atmosphere also very good
