Story

The wait is finally over, we are proud to announce that Cinnamon Kitchen a new Indian Restaurant will soon be opening at the Aberavon Seafront. Our dream of opening an Indian restaurant in our own town of Port Talbot is coming to reality. Our family have been in catering industries for over 40 years and we now want to give all our customers a true experience of Indian flavour. Went here last night and had a lovely time. The views from the restaurant were absolutely stunning, it was golden hour and throughout our date the colours of the sky just kept getting better and better.nnThe food was lovely, It isn't quite my top 3 but top 5 around here for sure. The staff were so welcoming and caring, making sure we had the best experience.
A fabulous Sunday buffet today for Mother's Day. The food was all absolutely delicious, fresh, with plenty of choice. The staff are all friendly and helpful and they keep the restaurant immaculately clean. There was a lovely atmosphere today, lots of people chatting and enjoying their food, with subtle background music. Thank you
I hope last nights takeaway was a one off.nWaited our usual time which you can expect for freshly cooked food. I’m living just up the road got my meal home the chips were really hot and nicely cooked however my special fried rice was all rice with 4 peas and some small bits of egg and only just warm. Nan bread was the same no condensation in the bag as it was cold.nMy beef curry was only just warm and was so different to it usually is and didn’t taste right.
Based on my first visit, the food was great and a lovely setting down on Aberavon Beach!nnOne issue we had which took it down from a 5 star for me was the wait. We were waiting over 45 minutes for our mains after our starters.nnThe staff were pointing at our table a few times, which ensured me that they were aware and on the case. However, we did not have any apology for the time we had to wait.nnThis was our first visit, and I have heard amazing things, so I am assuming this was just a one-off.nnUpdate based on second visit. I am not sure I will return after tonight ... The service was a letdown as we did not feel entirely welcome, and this time the food was just OK, as the chicken was so dry in every dish, which was a shame.
Excellent selection of buffet type meals,all fresh and kept until your plate needs a top up.Good view from front entrance
