Overall, the café is a nice café. It feels more like a modern café than a cosy one, with very large windows and a great view from the top floor of Info Lab. If you don't want to climb the stairs, there is lift access to the top floor. The trek to the café is quite long if you go from the north campus, but on a sunny day, the view from its balcony area makes the trek worth it. The food is not cheap, but not expensive compared to other cafés in town. For a falafel sandwich with soup/fries, it's ~£4 at the time this is written. The price for drinks are very good - £2.20 for latte, cappuccino etc. The menu is actually under the "special meal if the day" page on their clip boards placed in front of the counter, not hung up on a large board/poster behind the counter like most cafes, so it took me a minute to find the menu. The presentation of the food and the coffee was good. Taste-wise, the falafel I had was ok, but quite dry. The hummus was good - the use of lemon zest in the hummus gave it a fresh, summery flavour. The bread was on the airy side, though I would have preferred bread with a bit more texture/chewiness. The soup had a lovely texture - very nicely blended, and wasn't too hot/cold. The staff were lovely, albeit the service is on the slightly slow side. As the café only serves during lunch hours, it's sometimes difficult to visit the café during food serving hours if one's lectures are mainly on North campus in the afternoon. The negatives aside, the café is clean, fiendly, spacious, and quiet enough to work. The music is not overpowering, and the large windows allowed plenty of natural light in to read comfortably. There is even a patio/roof garden area with grass and wild flowers which is good for relaxing. It's definitely a good place for a quick lunchtime meetup with friends on campus, do some work for an hour or two, or just a quick break/treat. Overall, whether you're vegetarian/vegan or not, it's worth a visit :
Good for vegans and vegetarians. Falafel burger tasty but needed more tzatziki as was quite dry. Portions relatively small if you're looking for a full meal.
Great new menu in this vegetarian, vegan and sustainable fish cafe. The prices are reasonable and there is a nice outdoor seating area with views over the Bowland fells.
Really worth the visit on a hot day! some really nice food here not student priced i must say

Good spot to grab quick bite

Very tasty vegetarian and vegan food. A bit pricey though.
Because it's veggie it offers some tasty alternative menus. Worth a look.
