Very welcoming and attentive service. Food was very tasty and portions were great, such a change from some of the high street food establishments people are used to. A big bonus for us is their understanding and support for gluten free food, so many places just won’t cater properly but this place is brilliant. Finally the coffee, what a difference! You can actually taste it. Amazing!
Myself and two friends went to Journey Social’s taco night and had a really lovely evening! The staff were really friendly and helped us navigate the tapas style menu. We shared a few plates and also ordered a taco plate each. The food was incredible, can’t fault it at all! Every time I visit the food is always amazing especially the cakes! and their coffee is always perfect. The only super tiny criticism I have was that we originally booked for 4 but one of our party had to stay at work and couldn’t join us, so we asked if we could order them some food to take out and drop it off for them but they said they couldn’t facilitate this; It wasn’t a big issue, it just would have been nice to take them some so they weren’t missing out : Inside the restaurant is beautifully decorated and it has a really chilled out vibe. I’ve never had a bad experience at Journey Social and I always look forward to visiting! Photos added of taco night and also a previous brunch visit
The social club is a delightful spot just off Lancaster's High Street. Really pleasant staff, incredible brunch selection that looked like something of a delicious food magazine. My girlfriend's and I enjoyed a mouthwatering brunch, and fine tea & coffee with alternative milks available. I had the loaded French toast but the options Inc my gf's looked just as awesome if not better. Great flavours with fantastic presentation, Good atmosphere, Fab style.
Sage and Onion Stuffing Eggs from the festive brunch menu. Friendly service, *delicious* food and decent prices. Feels a little awkward to linger, because payment is taken at point of order which is good as a time saver, of course. The coffee was good quality and the sweet pastries although I didn't try them looked *amazing*. Worth your time.
Just stopped for brunch. I’ve been told this place was good but it was better than good. The service was excellent! The flat white was the best coffee I’ve tasted in Lancaster. I had the Halloumi Brunch- was blown away by the turmeric hummus- whoever came up with that combination is a genius! Episode highly recommended this place!

Popped into this cafe as I was passing through Lancaster. Nice simplistic set up and decor that played into the chic look quite well. Service was very good, although it was strange to pay for the food before we received anything. I had a Royale, which was well presented. It was a nice change to have flaked smoked salmon instead of your normal slices of salmon. Coffee was great. Enjoy giving 5 stars.
Have enjoyed many a brunch here with my partner! It’s one of our favourite spots. Service is always lovely and friendly and the food is excellent. Will be back soon, no doubt! :
Recommended. Located in the city centre, They have a good menu and great service. Food quality was good, presentation was even better. The restaurant is clean and tidy
Fantastic food that tastes as good as it looks. Service is always friendly although its always very busy and you may have to wait outside for a table. Its worth the wait!
