Great community pub with good food and drink at reasonable prices. Lots of events, music and activities happening. Staff are friendly and welcoming. Kids are welcome, there is a small selection of toys available. Outside area for drinking/eating when the weather is nice enough! Overall, an excellent venue.

What a great little place with character and cinema and venue to add. Great place to go before going to the Grand theatre with my friend Lucy who took me here. Lovely food well presented. Was totally relaxed with the open fire. Will be going back again.

A lovely friendly atmosphere for families or those heading out for drinks. The burger I had was huge, well worth the money since it was fresh and homemade. I will be visiting again soon!

Community centre various size rooms for hire, with cafe and bar, upstairs there is a small cinema too, homely throughout. Plenty of scheduled events throughout the week, best to check the Gregson website for details.

I go here on a Monday for a knitting group staff are very accomodating and friendly. Very good atmosphere and always warm and welcoming.
