The best independent gym in Reading, Buzz gym has the state-of-the-art equipment of an expensive gym but the membership fee of a budget gym. There is always space to workout- even at peak times and plenty of equipment to go round. The free weights section is definitely the best I have used. The staff are very friendly and approachable too and the classes are excellent for group work-outs

Really good gym lots of good equipment! I only give it 4 stars due to missing punching bag which they used to have before. Otherwise 5 star. I hope they will get freestanding one day.

After down grading my membership from the 30 pound a month option to the 20 pound a month option, the gym continuied to charge me 30 pounds a month but I only had access to the 20 pound a month features (eg: booking in five classes a week vs unlimited classes a week). I only noticed this after I cancelled my gym membership so I emailed them to tell them that for two-three months I was being overcharged. They let me know that they could only refund me one months over charge as a “sign of good faith.” Due to me not being able to log into the hub and prove the overcharge this is all I had to accept. I understand that it is not a large amount of money, but the principle is that Buzz should not be overcharging their members. I have gone to a lot of gyms and this one has great classes and is well located from my home and this is why I attend. But I wasnted to share this situation to ensure it doesn’t happen to anyone again.

A lot of reviews on here are obviously posted by the owner or made up profiles!!! The gym is always packed and the downstairs free weights area has no space and is a mess! Only reason I’m a member is because it’s a minute walk from my house! See pic for evidence of Buzz creating fake reviews.

Great Gym with a really friendly atmosphere and approachable staff. There is a really positive vibe from all of the PT's who help and encourage everyone. The gym is always clean and tidy and I find that there is always room for me unlike other gyms that I have been a member of in the past. Keep up the great work :)
