Story

Local Leisure Centre and much more! As a member you can enjoy unlimited access to the gym, public swimming sessions and our range of classes at the best prices or you can simply use our facilities on a more casual basis. Why not bring your team for training sessions in our fully equipped sports hall or on our floodlit Astroturf, check out our Swim School term times or choose from one of our party options for your child’s birthday. In fact, we’re not just about leisure facilities, our services extend to offer a variety of enterprise spaces for the local community from conferencing and events to Sensory Room. I have cancelled my Gym membership few months back with proper notice and within time. to my surprise I see a bank debit of £26 gone on 01-09-2017 which is ridiculous. I called up the Academy sport, Northumberland centre and I was told that As a matter of merging taking place between Academy sport and Reading Borough Council, such debits have been shown in the customers accounts and complaints raised and the admin is looking into this matter to be resolved. I don't understand how can a cancelled Debit account details are put back into use without customers interference. Poor management !

The building is a little dated but the centre has been modified and well maintained with all the facilities you'd expect of a modem sports centre. The centre is clean and the hard working staff are very helpful, curtious and friendly.

Amazing place to go. Clean Gym, pool with a clean water and warm water. STAFF are amazing, adorable and respectable. Eveyone need to go.

Absolutely not coming here again. The only good point about this place is polite staff. The worst thing is hygiene-everything is terribly dirty and not maintained at all! I joined through our clients company scheme but went only twice. First i tested gym-DIRTY, FULL OF SPIDER WEBS AND DUST, then i checked swimming pool-MOLDY AND JUST TERRIBLY DIRTY :(
