I went to collect a library book that I requested. Spent a very enjoyable time interacting with the very helpful and friendly volunteers, who keep the library going - as they have now for over 10 years! Definitely an asset to the local community. Now open until 7pm on Wednesdays.
A great library, lovely staff. we attended a History group which covers all aspects of Northern and local history, well attended sessions.
It is a small library with a big heart. Open three days a week thanks to volunteers who run it. There is a good selection of kids and babies books which is what we normally use it for and the option of reserving books from any other Manchester library and collecting it here. Some toys and activities for children including a popular storytime on Wednesdays. It is by far the friendliest library I've ever been to because of the volunteers.
Nice little local library, open 4 afternoons a week, you able to borrow up to 9 books for up to 3 weeks! it's great! They also have some local information and it's run by local volunteers who are really helpful and friendly and really go out of their way to help Borrowbox- is cool for borrowing ebooks and audiobooks open Tuesday mornings now too
Great community resource staffed entirely as far as I know by volunteers. They do great family activities during the holidays lots of lovely books for kids anything you can’t get hold of you can order online and collect.
Great community library, did well to stay open after Tory cuts imposed on Council. Needs to be restored to full time hours and post-5pm for it to be a true asset to this side of Burnage once more. I would advise, if you had more tables to work on rather than those cluttered with leaflets that'd be great.
Local library and run by volunteers. Its also a community hub. Has vsrious speakers attending and various clubs hold sessions there. Nice friendly volunteers too
Great community facility for book lending, research and event. The staff are wonderful very helpful and supportive.
Unreliable. Having taken note of hours of opening, I have had several wasted trips over to use the computers only to find the place closed with no explanation. Tried phoning but no answer, usually end up walking to either Withington or Levenshulme.
Can't believe that, in Manchester, a library is only kept open by volunteers. A million thanks to those volunteers.
