Excellent service contributes to a unique and very diverse range of books. The food is good at the cafe. It is worth having a look at a membership if you are a researcher or appreciator of fine antiques.
An impressive collection of books and a seriously pretty spot to read. I suspect younger visitors to the Library may think they’ve stepped onto the set of a certain Wizarding film!
Love the every corner of this library as a book worm! Highly recommend everyone to visit here while you are in Manchester
Fantastic hidden gem! Beautiful building! Library is in its original state with a new added feature- fireplace. Great place to sit quietly and work. The building and it’s contents have so much history! Must go to place.
Disappointing. One room, which is unremarkable apart from the stained glass ceiling. You can’t actually access the books, and they are all disfigured with white stickers on their spines. It does have a wonderful hidden away ambience, but it is not the amazing place I had been led to expect.
Small upstairs library with rotating exhibition. Friendly and informative staff. Surprisingly good cafe service with limited but tasty menu.
Tiny but lovely old library.
Hidden gem. Must see for book lovers. Nice and friendly staff.
