A wonderful little library. Beautiful building; a lovely little haven nestled in charming Didsbury. The staff are consistently friendly and helpful. I love coming here to work, read, or find a quieter place to journal or decompress.
Great selection of books, and easy to order more. Good amount of seating and workspaces. Very warm perhaps too warm all year round. Free tea and coffee put a small contribution in the box if you can.

There is an older white, balding man wearing glasses. Who works in the reception. He is persistently rude to the general public. It's been noted by many. On a power trip & fastidious about petty rules. I was told I could use the computers all day to complete my PhD thesis. Everything was fine, happily working & chatting with the staff & locals. This negative, misery comes along & creates unnecessary obstacles about the computers. I recognize this type if behavior & resistance....Oh Yes ! It dawns on me he's a racist disguised as a jobs worth. Other non whites mentioned to me similar confrontations. Shame as a lovely library. But he needs to be sacked ! Wont be working in here again & considering taking further action.
Just so loud, it's like they are running a playgroup in here. Parents talking loudly and children playing in the study area. Staff also didn't ask them to be quiet, even when encouraged. I understand it's the holidays but we need quiet spaces in the modern world more than ever. Libraries are here to provide that.
Polite staff and free tea/coffee for visitors. Yes, it wasn't very quiet but it was bearable and not worth to complain.
Please get contactless payment for printing!! It's ridiculous having to pay in cash and a massive inconvenience . No signs or any warnings given about the machine only accepting cash either. Perhaps signage or instructions should be provided about how to use the computers too - shouldn't just be assumed that everyone knows how to login
This library is having many number books under different category, very friendly staff, place for children to study, computer facilities, lot of information on notice boards projecting various events.Highly Informative and calm place to study.
Beautiful building, lots of comfortable chairs to read in
Small Manchester library, but it has everything. Very friendly staff.
